Announcing Little League Coaches Registry

Little League® knows that managers and coaches are among the most important volunteers in the Little League® program. They have to know the game and they have to love working with kids. Leagues with knowledgeable, caring and concerned coaches have an advantage when it comes to making the games fun and retaining players. That’s why Little League® Baseball and Softball is creating The Coaches Registry.

“We believe that many managers and coaches, regardless of their experience level or the level of the players they are coaching, would appreciate having ready access to resources that help them do a better job,” says Nick Caringi, director of regional operations at Little League® International. “The Coaches Registry will help them improve their coaching skills, make the games of baseball and softball more fun for the players, and improve the overall effectiveness of the league.”

The registry gives coaches exclusive tools and resources to prepare them for the job of putting the Little League program into action:

  • Electronic rulebooks
  • DVD training materials
  • The Little League® Official Coach and Manager Training program manual.

In addition, members of the Coaches Registry will receive deep discounts on almost every item purchased through the Little League® online store.
